What a busy weak, I don’t even know where to start. I had the pleasure to meet and learn from one of the best teacher and photographer in the industry. Roberto Valenzuela is an excellent mix of both professions, he has a strong background of teaching and he finessed his photography skills to such a high level where only the best photographers are.
The workshop took place at the wonderful city of Lugano. I’ve booked my spot quite late thus I had to travel by car. Although it isn’t next door, the trip was quite enjoyable. The weather was beautiful and the traffic was light. Once I got through the Gothard, I found myself in the middle of the Mediterranean summer. 19°C autumn breeze at the north side of the tunnel, 30°C crazy hot on the south side, and all this happend within 18km.
The workshop opened with a nice dinner on Sunday evening, where all the students got to know each other and Roberto. The learning started on Monday. This day was focused mainly on the locations and the next day was about posing and putting together all that jazz. The workshop was organized by the lovely Marian, she invested a lot of time and energy to sort out all the things with models, dresses, locations, food which we all really appreciated.
This three days were heavily packed with tons of information, and I really enjoyed every moment of it. Here comes some behind the scenes shots, more photos are coming soon.
